Brilliant re-composition Robert, just the right balance of colour, shape and line and lots of dancing movement. I had a Brit friend who always said “Pollocks to action painting”…
Thanks John, I can understand why some people dismiss Pollock’s contribution to art. He broke a lot of the traditional rules of fine art. Brits love tradition….. Even Jackson suffered tremendous self doubt about his art towards the end of his short life.
I look at art from the perspective of time and what is most meaningful to the world at any given moment. Pollock was the first American artist to make a major impact on the world. Best wishes, Robert
