Against all my friends’ opinion I confess that I’m often fascinated by this art!
Apart from mere aesthetics , I consider it a spontaneous way of expression !
You’re right……..it is spontaneous and although accepted by some as a modern artform is still very controversal regarding it’s application and legality. Even though it has modern stylistic form it has evolved from similar practice over centuries.
You are right in your above comment, wall art has been around since forever, in one form or another. You might remember I posted a whole series of explorations on street art some time ago and am still collecting and fascinated by it’s evolution. The example you show is pretty together compared to some..
