On my Journeys Of Apollo I came across this man……Title : Man In The Sun
I wondered if the strong light from the sun might completely dissolve the man.
Here is the result.

Sadly Apollo (one) was retired recently. So today I am…….. Title : Introducing Apollo 2
The Journeys Of Apollo continue……
Immediately I was given a valuable life lesson……
When life gets a little harder…… change down a gear!
Going up hill is made much easier when you go down a gear.

New black and white photograph showing……. Title : Coins Of Light
Shimmering coins of light
hovering on the river surface
dancing
jumping
bouncing
everywhere
beckoning touch…..
but these coins
are enriching the spirit
treasure them dearly
for to blink
and they are gone.

A new photograph and poem…….. Title : True Pleasures
The night is touched by day
when we all come out to play
to say……..something
Let not our unknown truths intimidate us
for we are not the custodians of pleasure
but believers and deceivers
Put away our pretense
and become who we are
For nothing could be kinder
than a reminder of our true pleasures
and…….
they enrich others too!

These are recent photographs which were….. Title : Found Studio Images
Studio is a state of being,
in mind as if in a dream
where shadows take form
and ideas and images gleam
or seem to………
but doubts perform their brilliant best
to be or not to be……pests
Like a laboratory grand
knowledge and history are at hand
but little use in expressing one’s emotions
for they are ephemeral, mysterious and respond only to inner truth
Lay bare one’s soul without excuse
and be ready for praise or abuse
For in the end
thee has told the truth
and is therefore free.

The Nerang River which I fondly photograph and explore with Apollo is actually a very long river extending 250 kilometres or 160 miles.
Our journeys cover only about 15 kilometres.
So todays images are not the beginning or the end of the river but a very small section somewhere near the middle.
I am always amazed to see ……….. Title : This Becoming That
Could this be a metaphor for human potential?
