The Long Shadow

New black and white beach photograph…….

Title : The Long Shadow

The long shadow creeps and makes its way to the sea like a tide going out that dissipates the accumulated heat the sand has contained and now gives up reluctantly.

Some people seek refuge under its canopy.

I am one.

It sets up a barrier, an invisible fence which contains a cooler air, a softer air, a lighter air which refreshes and rejuvenates without the wetness of the nearby sea.

This deepening darkness has merit.

It quitens the enthusiasm on the day’s activities and foretells the coming of the night.
