  1. Is your photo a recreation of her home or her studio? It is remarkable. If it’s permanent how much more space does this gallery have to exhibit other work?

    • The recreation is of areas of Olley’s famous home/studio, principally the Hat Factory and the Yellow Room. The recreation features original architectural elements such as windows and doors, relocated from Olley’s home studio. The interiors are filled with over 20,000 items Olley collected over many years as subject matter for her paintings.
      It may take up about a quarter of the total gallery exhibition area.
