Landscapes of the Heart
This is a new mixed medium painting on paper.
This landscape takes some navigation. There is so much to explore and discover. When you think you understand a part of it things change. Nothing is static. All is in motion….. like our emotions……like life.
But then again there is something to hold onto and guide you through this landscape which reveals the beauty, diversity and uniqueness it offers to somebody prepared to navigate it.
Like a great train journey across many lands there are breaks at times and knowing this you are always able to continue when you move onto the next station.

This is a Modern Celebration of The Creative Power of The Universe.
A new painting on Seven stretched canvases…..a heptaptych!
When I lived in and travelled Europe in the 70’s I was always amazed by the Altarpieces. They are most impressive works of art and none more so than the famous Ghent Altarpiece. I had completely forgotten them till this new painting emerged.
It somehow just seems right to me to paint a modern version of these remarkable works of art.

New Version of Les dames du bain
Continuing with the same theme inspired by Picasso’s Les Demoiselles d’Avignon here is a simple black and white image. Charcoal, Sumi ink and wash on A1 paper. Here I’m working with unfinished drawing and incomplete washes. Then of course there is my unique way of depicting the world. In fact that has been the primary purpose of this series.

Studio Update
This is a 2 panel 6 feet x 8 feet acrylic painting on stretched canvases. It has been worked on many times over the past 18 months.
