This is another new painting on 15 stretched canvases. My intention was to go somewhere else with lots of colour. Suddenly this monochrome painting appeared which is nothing like I expected. However this image surprised and delighted me going far beyond what I had imagined. A painting has a life of its own.

This is a larger new painting on 15 stretched canvases. It is all about colour, movement and form. Energy exploding in many directions. Held together by bands of colour and the restraints of the canvases. Nothing is static. All is seeking relationship to itself and what surrounds it. Originally it came from a wholeness but each part is not aware of that in this form. The evolutionary process has gone beyond its own awareness.

This is part of a new drawing in paint and charcoal. Drawing to me has always been fundamental to art. I love the skill of classical drawing although I have departed from its restraints and formal arrangements. These days I just love to let my art take me where it wants to go without any forethought or planning which were requirements of the classics. Even now I pause to reflect on my next move. Everything comes from within not without.
