After waiting and searching I finally found this historic 20 pound British note with one of my favorite artists J. M. W. Turner on it. The painting shown The Fighting Tameraire is one of his greatest paintings.

This is another new mixed media painting which is inspired by but looks nothing like the original.

One thing I discovered early on in my life as an artist was that I could never copy an artist’s work. It always went somewhere else. So now, many years later I just let my work take me where it wants to go.

This developing series is doing just that….
