The Journey – Departure
Here is the beginning of a new series of charcoal drawings on paper. This is not a physical journey but a spiritual one. It is also a journey into the depths of my artistic spirit with no guidelines or parameters, no destination or desired outcomes. So this is simply a point of departure that looks like a boat or sailing vessel with an image of me or somebody floating in the wind (the figure just suddenly appeared in the drawing). Who know where this journey will go?
