A One Hour Mini Vacation
Just 15 minutes from where I live is a different world. I had an appointment there yesterday and had a one hour wait time.
So I decided to have…………..A One Hour Mini Vacation
The sun, sand and fresh sea-breeze all contributed to make me feel I was on an exotic island a long way away.
There were sailboarders and kitesurfers soaring across the water.
It was magnificent……refreshing…..envigorating…..reviving!
Recommend if you can manage a one hour mini vacation…….TAKE IT!

A View Of The Coast
Another View Of The Coast
As a creative artist you always need to be ready to be inspired “by the moment.”
Here was a case in point.
My intention was a great photograph of the coast.
But when I arrived I had a David and Goliath moment which altered my perception and final images dramatically.
A guy was taking photos of the coast with the largest Canon camera I have seen outside those used at major tennis tournaments.
He proudly showed me the power of his BIG zoom and how it could show a person waving on one of the buildings…..amazing.
He had to rest the camera on a large fence post to steady it. I was impressed but the result was very predictable and seen many times before.
So I was really challenged with my very little point and shoot Sony.

The Magic Mountain
Magic is everywhere in the world…….even when you least expect it.
I did not expect to find ……… Title : The Magic Mountain
But what amazed me most was the Classical / Turner-like landscape at the rear of the picture and the distinctive contrast with the stark, reductive foreground.
